Do you guys have space for a huntard, a mage and a small(ish) warlock?
I messaged Tor just to test the water and (quite rightly) he suggested posting here to see what you all thought.
I'm currently in Relentless but to be honest lately it feels light membership-wise which makes it difficult to find numbers to run with. Almost no-one wants to run old content anymore, which I confess I enjoy. Lately I've been catching up with my Huntard running BRD, LBRS and Scholo and such, mostly solo which is a giggle.
I was very amused to see Orig the other day too, a face from the past ^_^
I thought I'd post here to see what you all thought about it before I go trolling looking for another guild as you guys are probably as close to the Clan ethic as I've found so far.
All comments welcome, obviously. Feel free to poke me in game if you feel the need. |

Personally I remember grouping with Temp and Bunty in the old-ish days (like a year ago..) and would have no problems/issues etc about welcoming you (all) back..
As long as you are not a Tanking Warlock that is:- I think we have plenty of those...

Similarly to Spew, I'd have no reservations about welcoming you back to SPS.
I believe part of the reason you left the guild last time was a lack of events and a lack of general enthusiasm for the ones that were planned.
I think you will find more folks more active than you remember now.

They say the grass is always greener.
But I have tried and failed to find any posts telling us the reason you left the guild. Or just to say you were leaving which would have been polite.
And if you left to join Relentless why did you join two other guilds after leaving SPS.
http://www.warcraftrealms.com/charhistory/27151532
I got the general feeling from reading the posts of people who left to form Relentless that they wanted to start raiding as soon as they had enough, rather than plug on with getting others keyed.
If they had stayed and worked to help the guild get keyed, we would probably have had the numbers to raid Kara almost every night.
So as most people who know me will Know, Its a No from me

fair comment, you're entitled to your opinion.
if i'd left to join relentless, i'd have joined it straight away but as you can see from that link there's a large gap between me leaving sps and joining sven et al. i never said i left to join relentless. i only joined them after getting a couple of group invites for runs they were doing because they were short.
at the time i left because, as i said in a message to roya, sps had become less and less active and there was no drive. it was more and more difficult to get groups to go anywhere even to the point of finding people questing in the same zone. certain key folks had left and seemingly took the drive with them. part of the reason i left is, from memory, that i'd been asking for shadow labs for a long time and no-one would go. then i saw a (mostly) guild group running shadow labs and i'd had enough.
as for the the two guilds in-between, awakening didn't work for me. fifty had people i knew and drive, but they were a bit too high pressure. i found sven's guild more friendly and it also had folks i knew.
you're confusing me with the group who left to form relentless just because i'm in relentless now. |

I have never had any probs with you hun and i would be fine with you coming back. i do remember you leaving us and i vaguely remember a large debate over the shadow labs run you mentioned. at the time i think a lot of us were still focused on leveling or doing instances with a group of particular people, to be expected really as we all find people we enjoy working with. i know at the time i was busy with RL and so wasnt doing all that much other than the odd one id get invited on, if memory serves. but anyway you left as you wanted to do more instances and raids which at the time we couldnt provide. that im my opinion is fine. now you want back as youve found it was more to your suiting here than you realised, fine by me. if the link Horsk provided is corrected you've only left us once and so im fine with giving you another chance
anyway, a yes from me - im all for second chances |

SPS have continued to jog along at own pace. We're getting further and further into Karazhan now. We're miles behind other guilds, but we don't care.
Regarding Temp/Bunty's return, I have no problems with that. Times change, guilds come and go. We've been lucky to maintain a core of players since the beginning of WoW. Slow but sure, that's us.
We've had a few people return several times, but three has become our limit.
Above all we do like to know why anyone feels the need to move on. Perhaps it's a problem we need to address. It's like leaving a job really, if one leaves under a cloud and the bridges are burnt, coming back is tough. |

As has been echoed above everyone deserves a 2nd chance & I can see no reason why that shouldn't happen in this case, was always a pleasure grouping in the past & I'm sure it will again
So I vote YES |

Lots of people leave for lots of reasons and the important thing is to get enjoyment from your playing time - it is a game after all. I have no reservations about you coming back as you were always helpful to the guild and the players.

Hi Bunty and Merry Christmas one and all.
I have no problem with people returning after trying another guild, I do wonder however if you know what you are letting yourself in for?
Have you been keeping up to date on these boards?
Have you seen the frequency that sps do kara, for instance, have you spoken to other guild members to find out how easy or difficult it is to arrange a heroic instance?
If you have not, then I would have to question your return, as it would be a shame for you to leave one guild only to be dissatisfied with this one.
SPS suits my play schedule and My wife and I love the people in sps, which makes a huge difference to us, I could not imagine being in any other guild but I am sure it does not suit everyone.
Please think carefully before returning, I am sure you would be welcomed with open arms, but as I said above it would be a shame to return only to leave again a few weeks down the line because we do not offer what you are looking for.
whatever your decision good luck and if it is to return to sps, then welcome back. |

thank you all for the comments.
i was waiting a bit to give those who hadn't had a chance to see time to post.
that's a good point pug but i have (and play) toons of all sizes so it's not such a worry. i'm not "hardcore" in any sense of the word. i think that's partly some of the attraction, that sps *do* have toons throughout the level range so it's possible that there's always something going on.
ok, i'll hopefully see you all in guild at sometime in the (near) future once i've said goodbyes to relentless. i'll tug hell's pink frock at some point for invites.
happy christmas |
