Hello everyone,
I have been a member of SPS twice in the past, 11 months ago was my most recent return. On both previous occasions I retired from the game due to boredom.
When the ‘Wrath of the Lich king’ was released I was I gripped by the media frenzy and decided to give the game another go. I am in total awe of the new continent and all of the hard work which has been put into its creation by the Wow Gods – I love it!
I have played various other similar games having started on (what seems like centuries ago) – EverQuest. EQ, IMHO, is the standard by which all other MMORPG games are compared to.
I must admit that when I started playing Wow again, this time around, I have found it good fun after a refreshing rest. I would like to say that I recommend a rest from the game to you all but that would probably be considered heresy by the many of you?
Anyway, I have a Human Mage lvl 60ish – dormant, but my main love at the moment is my Pally – Twis lvl 80.
I am currently enjoying Sholazar Basin as Twis is a Miner/Blacksmith since the latest patch and the ‘one pick at node’ was introduced mining is so much easier and less prone to robbery. It seems the Wow Gods have realised that we all like to make loads of dosh and Sholazar seems to cater for many professions with its prolific resources.
My chr is as yet un-finally speced. I have yet to decide which is way for me to go. Perhaps some of you more experienced Pallys can give me some advice.
I come to you with probably not the best gaming resume; I am an early riser but I am not good at late nights. I do like to group but soloing is just too easy with the new expansion. When I do group I enjoy the experience very much as with my recentish afternoon joining with Tor and Kaz.
So why do I want a guild? A guild to me is not all about groups and raiding (don’t get me wrong I do want to do both though) it is a great asset to have a reassuring band of good people to chat to for advice and to help me out and for me to be able to help them too. I like to group and have raided in the past but neither am not too experienced at (your training/advice is necessary, please).
Sponsor(s) - err... I could nominate a few... the ex guild mates(?) who were very poor contributors to the - SPS CHOIR NIGHTS - can forget it if they think I will accept them as nominees... LMAO!
Thanks go to you all for reading/enduring my epilogue... if you do invite me back I will try not to bore you with my babble (well not too much).
Cheers... hope to catch you all in-game soon. |

Ahh... the elusive lesser-spotted Twis returns to grace our presence and serenade us with hymnal goodness!
Welcome back to the boards .
I think there would be a fair few of us "old-timers" who would be prepared to sponsor you again .
I'm sure you'll remember a few familiar names still entrenched within the roster, although there are many more newer folks that, you will have the pleasure of finding out, are complete loonies too .
I for one am looking forward to irreverant (and indeed, irrelevant) chats once again.
Hope to see you in the green spam before long.
Steve. |

Welcome back, I'm happy to sponsor your return. I've enjoyed our chats recently. No way I can compete with your waking time though... even the incentive of lots of Titanium ore couldn't get me out of bed before 9am at weekends.
Let's get you back amongst us on the usual month trial for all newcomers and returnees. |
