Hello there,
I was wondering if there was any room for a resto druid in your guild.
I have recently switched from the Khadgar server to play with a RL friend ( who will be applying as well, soon ) I used to be in a guild called 'Phoenix Rising' on the Khadgar server.
I have just started playing the game again after a fair few months break so I am not familiar with all bosses in Icc, I have only done the first six.
I am not the type to moan about raid picks or loot I just wanna be part of a friendly guild and have a laugh.
I am 30,married with 3 kids (and 1 more on the way!) and live in North Wales.

Hello Rob

Thanks for your application post, you tick some boxes with that application.

Firstly have you read A Guide To SPS? It's important that Potential New Members read up about who we are, what we stand for and what we require from our members. If that section sounds good to you, then it's likely that you'll fit in with us.

Above all we are interested in the person... we don't mind if you started playing last week or if you've completed every raid zone in the game, it's you the guy in the chair that has to be a good person.

I suspect that you've already started by reading this thread about applying to us?
If you have you'll see you're at the second stage now, Finding a sponsor and so forth.

This is a tough stage for a lot of people, mainly because level of character can affect your chances of interacting with the majority of us.
All I can say is have a chat with some of us, we'll natter with you if we're not too busy. We can learn a lot about you, and you about us, by just chatting.

Oki doki thanks.

I have read the app. procedure and I'm not totally sure what I do next.
Am I right in thinking I have to contact a member in game and try and get them to sponsor me? Or do I have to write an introduction on the forum and someone chooses me?
Sorry for being a bit thick but i'd like to get it right:)

You've carried out the first stage of introducing yourself, so the next stage is joining us in game.
In chat or if possible groups, so that we get to know you. And as you say 'get them to sponsor you'. Cool

Ok thats great thanks, I'll wsp someone in game.
I've just noticed, after reading the app. procedure again, that I was supposed to register in my charcters name.
Shall I register again or is there a way to change that?

If I have learnt anything from my time in SPS it's to never listen to anything Messi tells you!

Even if what he is saying makes sense (regarding hunters) for example, never ever admit it Twisted Evil

Hi again, Spoke to you in-game and suggested you try to group with a few members to get to know them. If you remember I did say don't pick me as I am a grumpy old fart.

In all honesty feel free to give me a shout but be prepared for me to:

a) ignore you , not knowing who on earth you are, or pretending not to.
b) invite you to a heroic promising to heal and never actually doing so.
c) invite you to join in on some half-wit mission to clear ICC 10 with only druids in the raid.
d) I may even reply and be nice....well I may... its happened before once or twice.
